379 Coupler Lock FeaturesThese locks protects unattended trailers and guards against tow-away theft. The universal trailer coupler lock fits 1-7/8in (48mm), 2in (51mm) and most 2-5/16in (59mm) couplers by Reese, Fulton, Valley, Atwood, Shelby, Putnam, Hammerblow, Dutton, Lainson, and UFP.This simple design is difficult to defeat because when it's locked on the trailer the lock rests on top of the coupler (see image) thus thwarting blunt force from downward hammer strikes. It also rotates (less rigidity) making it harder to break with sledge hammer force.Made with Reinforced Zinc Die-Cast resists rust and corrosion. Few materials provide the strength and toughness of zinc alloys. Impact resistance is significantly higher than cast aluminium alloys, plastics, and grey cast iron. Zinc alloys offer high strengths (to 60,000 psi) and superior elongation for strong designs and formability for bending, crimping and riveting operations.37 Latch Lock FeaturesAPPLICATION: The 37 lock works on 1-7/8 & 2 inch couplers & on virtually all standard hasp applications. These locks have a removable shackle sleeve. Sleeve off - Secures coupler latches. Sleeve on - Works best with hasps. TO FIT COUPLER LATCH: Remove the shackle sleeve. Shackle fits standard opening of 9/32" (7mm). Note that non-rigid shackle has enough play to fit virtually all coupler latches less than 7/8 wide.LATCH PADLOCK FEATURES: This lock is NOT recommended for all 2-5/16 couplers. It works GREAT on 1-7/8 and 2". The 37 latch lock will not fit some 2-5/16 couplers. If the latch is recessed on top of the coupler it's difficult to insert, or if the latch is wider than 3/4 the lock won't close properly. Instead choose the lock set with the standard #3 padlock - search 2KA-379-3SPECIFICATIONS: 3/4" (19mm) Armored Shackle Guard helps block bolt cutters. Revolving, case-hardened steel shackle sleeve resists cutting and sawing.

• KEYED ALIKE - One key opens both locks. We can key multiple sets to the same key number. If multiples are ordered we will automatically key them all the same. Each lock comes with two keys, for a total of four keys.
• COUPLER LOCK FEATURES: This black coupler lock is very difficult to defeat, by virtue of how the top of the lock rests on the top of the coupler, withstanding downward forces. See second image. The lock will also rotate if hit hard, with no rigidity the lock is tougher to defeat. Advanced locking mechanism resists picking and prying. Simple installation and removal.
